Sunday Funday. Sunday’s in lockdown aren’t too dissimilar to those out of lockdown. I sleep in, eat lots of tasty food and relax.
Today was all kinds of good. I woke up late and spent the morning in my pyjamas playing games (Trivial Pursuit and Would I Lie to You) and watching Sex Education (I’m late to the party, I know). It’s on Netflix and it’s awesome. It makes me laugh, sometimes get upset, and always makes me question how the writer managed to write this kind of comedy. My favourite character is Eric, he’s a breath of fresh air in this sometimes real-life, sometimes a bit freaky, teenage comedy.
After a relaxed morning (and afternoon if I’m honest), we went to see Luke’s Dad and have a nice cuppa in his company.
When we got home I finished making a roast gammon dinner for us all. It was served with; roast potatoes and carrots, cabbage, leeks, broccoli, Yorkshire pudding (sadly not homemade) and lashings of gravy. The way God intended *lol*.
Next week is probably going to be our last week in full lockdown without work, so we’re going to make the most of it whilst getting the last few jobs done around the house. Cue Sarah, who’s going to help us! Thank you sis!
The end of lockdown is near, I’m feeling all kinds of things right; apprehension, excitement, anxiety, confusion- normality is needed and I’m looking forward to that, I’m just really nervous about the likelihood of the British public not having common sense…
Anyway, enough about that, here’s to being positive and healthy!
