Courtyard Cafe Review

There is a new wave of cafes being set up to help give people with learning difficulties a chance to earn money, develop new skills and become independent. The Courtyard Cafe does all those things and more at its base in Horsforth, Leeds.

The food is fresh and locally produced (where possible), the staff are friendly, and it’s all very reasonably priced.

You can get a cooked breakfast all day for £4. The meat is freshly sourced from a local butchers and the breakfast was cooked very well.

You can also tuck into a range of paninis for £4.  A few options include; bacon, brie and cranberry sauce, pesto chicken and peppers, and goats cheese with olives.

The cafe also has a range of hot and cold drinks all at reasonable prices.

We were made to feel very welcome at the cafe and enjoyed the food and drinks, as well as the wonderful hospitality and work that has gone into the cafe’s upkeep.

Rating: 10/10

Price: Cheap and cheerful
